Bella Dreams of Whipped Cream is a children's picture book written by Diane Petrozzo with illustrations by Lauren Zurcher. The story follows Bella, a twelve-year-old Golden Retriever, who sees her neighbor's dog enjoying whipped cream and wants to try it too. Bella moves to Colorado with her new foster family before she gets a chance to taste the delicious delicacy. Despite the move, her desire for whipped cream remains unfulfilled. Bella makes new friends and receives love and care from them, but still craves whipped cream. Fortunately, things take a turn for the better when Bella is adopted by a new foster mom, who takes her on great adventures and loves her unconditionally. Will she help Bella achieve her dream of having whipped cream?
Bella Dreams of Whipped Cream is a delightful story that teaches children to never give up on their dreams and to show love and care for one another. The story is simple and fun to read, introducing readers to Bella, an elderly dog who still has spunk and an optimistic attitude. Children will love getting to know her and fall in love with her, just like I did. The book raises awareness about rescue animals and has themes of friendship, family, and acceptance. It has colorful illustrations that complement the story and make the book visually appealing. Bella's cheerful and playful personality and the environment of every place she moved to were perfectly depicted in the art. I enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend sharing it with your family. Overall, this is great work."
