World Heart Day With Sharing Heart
Celebrate World Heart Day with Sharing Heart, a great reminder to promote heart health, raise awareness, and inspire action.
Celebrated annually on September 29, World Heart Day was established by the World Heart Federation(opens in new tab) in collaboration with the World Health Organization(opens in new tab) "with the aim of increasing awareness of cardiovascular diseases and how to control them to negate their global impact."
Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the most common cause of death globally.
"Up to 80% of premature CVD deaths are preventable through affordable access to care, early screening, and more opportunities to make healthy choices in nutrition and stay active. That’s why on World Heart Day, we unite across six continents to raise awareness, inspire action, and celebrate heart health." —World Heart Federation(opens in new tab)
