WHAT IS YOUR SPECIAL GIFT?

In Mischievous Molly Discovers Her Gift, Molly learns that "a gift doesn't have to be wrapped in pretty paper and a shiny bow...It can be a special skill you share with others."

When authors Nancy Hallowell and Afsoon Kelly set out to write their first children's book, they wanted to "inspire young readers to identify and value their own unique gift(s)."

With families and friends gathering to celebrate the year-end holidays, this is a perfect time to start a conversation with your child, grandchild, niece, nephew or sibling about their individual talents. Because some children may not be able to answer a direct question like, “What are your special gifts?” HERE are some ideas to get the conversation flowing.

The authors love to hear about everyone's special gift, SHARE yours!

About the book: Molly never eats her vegetables, is very messy, and does her best to miss the school bus. On top of that, she is struggling to find a talent to share with her class. But with the help of her lovable dog, Mojo, she discovers a special gift that brings comfort and joy to others. Every child has a special talent to offer, even the most mischievous.
