Writing as a dream job
Did you know that becoming a published author is a dream job for many people—more than you might think. According to Huffpost, a poll showed that 80% of Americans (or around 200 million) would like to be an author, and with new ways of publishing, this dream is becoming more realistic to achieve. In 2019, there were more than 45.8 thousand writers working in the United States. About 150,000 people are listed as authors for the U.S., or about 0.04% of the population.
