The Rainbow Brigade is here to help! This group of dogs led by Nubby-Bean brings smiles, joy, and hope to people going through difficult times, whether it’s dealing with a new baby sibling, a best friend moving away, or the loss of a parent.
Rosie dreads going to bed every night. She is very afraid of the dark, especially when she hears weird noises. When Nubby-Bean and the Rainbow Brigade appear at Rosie’s door, they show her that the day and night are similar in many ways and that there are no monsters.
Will Rosie succeed in conquering her greatest fear?
About the Author: Dr. Sheila Cooperman is a retired English Language Arts teacher with a PhD in Literacy. She invariably turns to writing to express either her love or ache with issues stemming from losing both her mothers, having children, dealing with divorce, and more recently coping with the death of her Boykin Spaniel. Through the power of words and books, Sheila aims to help others manage grief and adversity.
About the Illustrator: Lily Ashton is an artist from Kent, England. She grew up in the countryside and is inspired by wildlife and the outdoors. Since graduating from Southampton Solent University with a degree in illustration, Lily now specializes in drawing children’s books and pet portraits. She loves playing video games for fun.
