"I began painting in 2009 and now it is a significant part of my life and I consider it a privilege to be able to make art that people enjoy.  I think painting can be made to seem difficult, but with a few rules to keep in mind, and a few practice paintings out of the way, anyone can do it.  I never had a formal art class. I learned by trial and error, by watching instructional videos by David Dunlop, Quang Ho, and of course, Bob Ross!
