The Rainbow Brigade is here to help! This group of dogs led by Nubby-Bean brings smiles, joy, and hope to people going through difficult times, whether it’s dealing with a new baby sibling, a best friend moving away, or the loss of a parent.
Chelsea recently lost her dad and is surrounded by sadness. Her Mama is grieving, and her little brother stopped laughing and playing. She doesn’t know what to do. When Nubby-Bean from the Rainbow Brigade shows up at her door, the little girl believes an angel has come to help.

Dr. Sheila Cooperman is a retired English Language Arts teacher with a PhD in Literacy. She invariably turns to writing to express either her love or ache with issues stemming from losing both her mothers, having children, dealing with divorce, and more recently coping with the death of her Boykin Spaniel. About the Illustrator
Lily Ashton is an artist from Kent, England. She grew up in the countryside and is inspired by wildlife and the outdoors. Since graduating from Southampton Solent University with a degree in illustration, Lily now specializes in drawing children’s books and pet portraits. She loves playing video games for fun.
