A Tail of Pawsitivity

Beth Dokolasa shares a tail of pawsitivity with a children's book based on her cat Techno and her experience working with Cat Care Society.

"I’ve written my first children’s book! This project was inspired by my volunteer work at Cat Care Society and the incredible dedication to animal welfare I’ve witnessed there.

At its heart, the book shares a meaningful message: Techno the cat learns that it’s okay to feel fear, but it’s important not to let it hold you back—a lesson that can resonate with readers of all ages.

Thank you to Spring Cedars and everyone who has supported me on this rewarding journey of blending creativity and purpose. It’s been a joy to bring this idea to life, and I’m excited to share it with young readers and anyone who loves cats! #BePAWSITIVE"

Beth holds a master’s degree in communication management and has built a career in the natural food industry, specializing in training development. A devoted cat lover, she volunteers with the Cat Care Society in Denver, Colorado, where she has served in various roles, including on the Board of Directors. Beth lives in the Denver Foothills with her husband Paul, their daughter Ellie, and their two cats Techno and Digit.
