According to Alley Cat Allies, on October 16, Global Cat Day^® embraces "the global truth that cats are community members and every community should have policies and programs to protect them."

Celebrate the day with Techno's Tail of Pawsitity, a children's book written by Beth Dokolasa and illustrated by Amy Glatiotis.

The story is based on Beth Dokolasa's cat Techno and her experience working with Cat Care Society.

"This project was inspired by my volunteer work at Cat Care Society and the incredible dedication to animal welfare I’ve witnessed there.

At its heart, the book shares a meaningful message: Techno the cat learns that it’s okay to feel fear, but it’s important not to let it hold you back—a lesson that can resonate with readers of all ages."
