Roberta C. Stone is a retired History teacher with a Master’s in Education as well as a journalist for The New York Times, Connecticut Magazine, and The Connecticut Post. Entrepreneurial in nature, she has a jewelry business, a knitted headwear business, and a travel blog. Roberta is the mother of three daughters and grandmother of six. About the Illustrator:

Paola Alejandra Marchand Zecchinelli was born in Mexico City. She was that girl with notebooks full of doodles and drawings. Alejandra studied at the Universidad Latina de América and became a Graphic Designer with a passion for illustrating children’s books. She taught Art in elementary schools for fourteen years and currently lives in Mississippi with her husband and two kids.
